Tournament & Sportfishing Mate Services
Capt. Sven Meyer is available as a freelance mate onboard your own vessel should you need an extra set of hands for a fishing day or tournament, these services are offered at a daily rate. Sven has extensive experience in fishing New England Canyon tournaments such as the Oaks Bluffs Bluewater Classic, the Tri-State Canyon Shootout, and the Nantucket Big Game Battle, just to name a few. He has provided mate services for 'Speculator', a 92' Viking based in Nantucket for the last several years on a regular basis and has worked a few freelance days and maintenance days for a private family on a 42' center console.
Capt. Sven holds the following qualifications, but please contact us for a full CV:
- OUPV (6-pack) issued by USCG
- TWIC card issued by TSA
- Medical certificate issued by USCG
- CPR & First-Aid certified
- Enrollment in a national drug-testing consortium
- References upon request
