Guests that are of the legal drinking age are more than welcome to consume alcoholic beverages while onboard. That being said we ask that alcohol is limited to beer/light seltzers only, no hard liquor and no glass bottles please.
Overconsumption will not be tolerated while onboard, nor will under age drinking be tolerated. If an unsafe situation arrises during a charter, the boat will return to the dock immediately at the discretion of the captain with no refunds or partial refunds for the lost time. Please drink responsibly.
There is a ZERO tolerance drug policy onboard our vessel, this includes marijuana. If marijuana or other drugs in any form are brought onboard, the boat will return to the dock immediately with no refunds or partial refunds for lost time. Please be respectful of this policy, per federal regulations.
Children of all ages are welcome onboard. We encourage you to reach out prior to booking to discuss the specific needs of your family, we're happy to help you choose the most suitable trip based on your children's ages and prior experience on the water.
That being said, for the safety and comfort of everyone onboard, we require that younger children (ages 13 and under) are accompanied by at least one parent or responsible adult per child. For example, if two young children are attending, there must be two supervising adults.
While our crew will always prioritize safety and do everything possible to ensure a smooth experience, they are not responsible for direct child supervision. We appreciate your understanding that supervision is the responsibility of the attending adults.
To maintain a safe environment we reserve the right to cancel or modify a booking if we believe there will be inadequate supervision for the number of children onboard.
We hope that all goes as planned for your charter but sometimes weather and life just gets in the way!
Cancellations Due to Weather
Safety is our top priority at Days Work Charters, and we will always reschedule or cancel a charter if the weather and sea conditions will be unsafe for guests to fish. Cancellations that must be made due to weather will be made at the discretion of the captain 24-36 hours prior to your trip's departure time, this is the general timeframe when we can count on weather reports to be the most accurate. If the captain has determined that your trip cannot proceed as planned you will be offered the option to reschedule your trip or receive a full refund of your booking deposit. Please note, unfavorable weather conditions (like rain, temperature, clouds, and a slight swell) are still safe to head out in and we will not reschedule or cancel a charter to avoid those conditions, our Weather Cancellation Policy comes into effect if the conditions will be unsafe for our guests.
Cancellations Made by Guests
If you need to cancel your trip for any reason, we ask that you do so 14 days before your trip date to receive a full-refund of your booking deposit. Cancellations made within 14 days of the charter date will forfeit the booking deposit that was used to hold your date.
